EMEPA sends crews to Singing River Electric following Tropical Storm Gordon

East Mississippi Electric Power Association sent 15 linemen, servicemen and engineers to Singing River Electric Cooperative (SRE), headquartered in Lucedale, Miss., to aid in power restoration efforts following Tropical Storm Gordon.

SRE experienced a peak of over 10,000 outages following TS Gordon. The cooperative serves more than 73,000 meters in southeast Mississippi.

EMEPA crews departed from EMEPA’s Meridian office on Wednesday, September 5.
